The Banyan Golf Course has been designed by one of Thailand’s leading golf course design companies GolfEAST. Whose notable previous successes have included renovation of The Blue Canyon Country Club Phuket, Tublamu Golf Club Phangnga and Santiburi Samui Country Club on Koh Samui. Khun Pirapon Namatra Managing Director of GolfEast believes that The Banyan Golf Course has a very natural feel to it and by its design has the potential to be the best golf Course in Thailand, if not in South East Asia.

The Banyan Golf Club Hua Hin just south of town is created out of an existing pineapple plantation tucked in between one small mountain and a large mountain range that will be the backdrop to this 7361 yard par 72 course with four sets of tees. The course has many dramatic and panoramic views of the gulf, the lush mountains and Hua Hin.

Each hole has 6 tee boxes making the course more or less challenging depending on each golfers abilities and tee selection. Strategically placed water hazards, waste bunkers, and sand traps are spread out throughout the course. The Imperial Lake View Hotel & Golf Club was the first 36 hole golf course in Hua Hin and is a good example of a top quality Hua Hin golf course. The golf course is a favorite with both residents and Hua Hin golf tour fans to the area and is situated a bit inland amongst small farms & pineapple plantations on a large parkland parcel. For many Hua Hin golfers this is the most beautiful course in this region.

The Imperial Lake View original 18 hole championship course is well maintained and lives up to it’s name with small streams in abundance, and a large lake dividing the course in two. This, together with mature trees, blind shots to some greens, undulating fairways and several doglegs, tests the skills of the low handicapper. The long par 3, 14th hole is particularly tricky and features a tee box on a small island and the green at another island 210 yards away - all surrounded by water. There are a number of easy par holes on offer making the course a balanced test of golf also for higher handicappers.

Majestic Creek Country Club is a favorite among locals and expatriates living in Hua Hin as the course conditions are probably the most consistent year round as compared to all other Hua Hin golf courses.

The Bermuda grass greens tend to be on the slow side. However, all the greens slope one way or another which makes for difficult side hill lies if one is not careful with their approach shots. The palm tree lined fairways are superb and an absolute pleasure to walk and play on during your Hua Hin golf tour.

Playing Milford Paradise Resort (Seoul Country Club) offers a change from the longer championship courses, Fantastic sea views are one of the features of this unique layout where accuracy and placement are more important than length to score well.

Milford Paradise Resort (Seoul Country Club) Hua Hin is located on the way to Pran Buri 15 minutes drive from Hua Hin. Designed in 1992 by Robert McFarland the course has a feel of a "links" due to its seaside location and is surrounded on three sides by forested hills. The natural lie of the land makes for a large degree of elevation on most of the holes, which adds to the interest and challenge of the course.

Milford Paradise Resort (Seoul Country Club) may not be one of the longest Hua Hin golf courses around but this course proves to be difficult. Fast greens that are not easily read, will put your putting skills to the ultimate test! This par 72, 18 hole course lies in 300 acres of land, and was designed by Robert McFarlane. The course lies in a spectacular location nestled in the valleys of a chain of mountains directly adjoining the coastline.

Many Hua Hin golf professionals have trouble matching par over this testing Hua Hing golf course layout. The greens are fast and not easy to read which will challenge the skills of all Hua Hin golf tourists.
